Welcome to my web site. I'm an Information Technology Specialist in the IT Department at Everett Community College. From 2000 to 2009 I served as a full-time Information Technology instructor for the Computer Information Systems department here at EvCC. I am now involved in management of the information infrastructure for the college. I continue to teach part-time for the CIS department. As you might imagine, my focus is on teaching networking courses. In my new position, I am no longer a faculty advisor. If you are unsure if our certificates or degrees offer what you are looking for, or if you want help charting your academic pathway through the CIS programs, I suggest that you contact Michael Crehan, acting CIS program advisor. Email: mcrehan@everettcc.edu Phone: (425) 388-9048 Office: Rainier Hall, Room 362 I've created these pages to help both current students and prospective students navigate the sometimes bewildering array of requirements and expectations that we call the "College Experience". Even though I am no longer a CIS advisor, I'll keep this site up with important information to help new and continuing students navigate their academic careers. EvCC has other advising specialists ready to help as well. Our Financial Aid office has specialists to help you with concerns about funding your education. We have Study Skills specialists ready to help you gain the most from your time and effort. We have a great team in Student Support Services that are experts at helping you figure out ways to deal with personal and family committments that compete with your study time. Once you are clear about your academic and career paths, a program advisor, such as Mr. Crehan, will usually be your primary advisor. However, at EvCC you have a WHOLE TEAM of advisors and other experienced staff who are here to support you. Best Regards Rob
