- (August 16, 2007) Have a Good Summer!

- (August 10, 2007) Last Week of Class
Remember to have your Final Project Presentation at the beginning of class on Monday, August 13. Also, upload your final project per the specifications to Blackboard.
The Final Exam will be Wednesday, August 15 at 7:00pm. One page of notes (8.5" x 11" and both sides) will be allowed. The Final Exam Review outline is available under the Course Documents.
- (August 2, 2007) Monday in Class and No Assignment #9
Thank you for those who could come to class on Wednesday. We studied in depth about the functionality of JavaScript and the ability to customize it any way. I have uploaded the JavaScript Power Point in the Course Documents Folder.
Remember, we will be having in class time on Monday, August 6 on XML AND Assignment #9 is cancelled. The Assignment #10 will be over XML and wll be due on Wednesday, August 8.

- (July 30, 2007) Assignment #8 and Final Project
Please make sure to work on Assignment #8 and read the instructions for submission. You will be turning this assignment into the beginning of class. If you are having troubles with JavaScript, please post questions in the Discussion Board. If you would like, we can cover JavaScript in class to make sure everyone understands it.
For your final project, make sure you start the project and have your team set by this Wednesday, August 1. If you are seeking a team member and have not found one, please let me know ASAP.
- (July 20, 2007) Exam #2 and Review Session
Exam #2 is in class on Wednesday, July 25 at 7:00pm. Please bring pens and pencils to take the Exam. The Exam will cover Tutorial 4, 6, 7, and 9 and will be open notes (1 page max, front and back), but no open book.
We also have a review session available on Monday, July 23 in class at 7pm. If you have any questions, please let me know. Again, check the updated Syllabus as Tutorial 10 and other readings have been moved.

- (July 16, 2007) Assignment #6 and #7
Both assignment #6 and #7 are up! Please go ahead and keep working on the assignments and make sure to have them turned in by the due dates.
Again, we are going to skip Tutorial 8. We can cover some of the information in our Wednesday lecture if needed. If anyone has questions, please ask. We will have another Study and Open Question session this Wednesday, July 18 at 6pm in Shuksan 230.
Remember, our next exam will be in class on Wednesday, July 25. More information on the exam is to follow.
- (July 9, 2007) Review and Combo Assignment
I have decided to cancel Assignment 4 and instead make a combination of both Tutorial 4 and 6 for Assignment #5. Assignment #5 will be due next Monday, July 16 at 11:59pm through Digital Dropbox here on Blackboard.
Please come to class Wednesday with any questions about where we are in the book and HTML code. Per the Discussion Board, it looks like a study group will be forming before class. I hope to join them before class to answer any questions.
Great job on the Exam everyone. I will provide more information about the previous assignments and the Exam scores.
Go ahead and make sure you have Tutorial 4 and Tutorial 6 skimmed over. It may be a lot of reading, but if you have any questions, come to class with them. We can then further discuss the main outline and structure of Tables and Forms. See you on Wednesday!

The following Test has been made available in Assignments: Exam #1.
Exam #1 covers Tutorial 1, 2, and 3; Class and Board discussions, and Appendix readings.
Open Book, Open Notes, but by yourself. Others may not help you take the test.
Duration: 2 Hours! You can only take the test one time! Make sure you give yourself the possible full 2 hours to take the test.

- (July 4, 2007) Exam #1
If you have any questions or would like to set up a place to study with others, use go to the "Exam #1" board! Remember, the first Exam #1 will be online here in Blackboard. It will cover Tutorial 1, 2, and 3, class discussions, and the Appendix reading.
The exam must taken by
Sunday, July 8, at 11:59pm(See above). The test will be live Friday afternoon at 1pm!The Exam is open book, notes... but you cannot take it with a friend or next to each other.
- (June 26, 2007) Discussion Board, Assignment 1, HTML? Oh My!
Thanks again for those who were able to make it to class last night! Those who were not able to attend, please send me an email so everyone can be caught up. Our first assignment is due at the beginning of class this Wednesday, June 27. Assignment 1 objective and information is located on the "Assignments" link to the left and also available on Blackboard
If you have any questions, feel free to email me or ask questions in the Discussion Board. Needing these beginning basics will be important as we continue to move forward in different concepts of HTML and Web Design.
REMEMBER, on the Discussion Board, everyone needs to "Add a Thread" under the "CP 120 Welcome" and the two questions needed to be answered are 1) discuss why you are taking this class and 2) what you expect to learn before the end of class. This will be worth 10 points of your Forum and Participation grade.
If you have any questions about Assignment 1, again feel free to use the Assignment 1 Board available now to post questions or any errors you may find.
- (June 25, 2007) Welcome
The first day of class is Monday, June 25 at 7:00pm in Shuksan 230. The course website will be located right here at http://faculty.everettcc.edu/home/wfrankhouser/cp120/sum07/. Information about the class will be provided the first day of class, along with the Syllabus and Schedule and then linked inside of BlackBoard and on the left menu here.
